Where does your name, Vocate, come from?
Our name Vocate comes from the word vocation. A vocation is an occupation that you are especially drawn or called to. At Vocate we strive to provide a community that allows you to share your passion, purpose and talent of your calling, whether it's your career, school, hobby, or personal event, we provide the space for your best vocation to happen here!
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Members have 24/7 access to Vocate. If anyone is needing access to our space before or after, please contact us. We are more than happy to work something out!
What does a membership at Vocate look like?
We offer lots of different options: mail services, monthly memberships to daily passes and even extended long term rentals.
Can I stop by to get a daily pass or use the Gathering rooms or do I need to make a reservation?
We do prefer reservations, which you can make online, by phone call or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are looking for a last minute daily pass or access to the Gathering Room, you can call at any time to check availability.
Can you use Vocate as a business address?
Yes, you definitely can! We will accept your mail and deliver it to your personal mailbox. We do ask that you make sure you use your first and last name or your company name so we can know who the mail belongs to.
Are membership terms month-to-month?
Typically agreements are 12 month terms but we are flexible to meet your needs.
Does Vocate require an agreement deposit?
We do ask for an agreement deposit at time of signing.
Can I change offices after I have already moved into one?
If that office is available you definitely can!
Can I share an office with another person/business owner?
Yes, you can share an office with anyone you would like. We do ask that one person is in charge of signing the agreement as well as making each monthly payment.
What type of people work out of Vocate?
Just to list a few: remote workers, freelancers, start ups, nonprofit organizations. Anyone is welcome and can benefit from working at Vocate!
Do you have communal areas?
We sure do! When working in our co-working area, you will have access to all amenities. Some amenities may have an additional charge.
Does Vocate have a full kitchen?
Yes we do! We also offer unlimited coffee and tea. Our kitchen has a full size refrigerator, as well as all the dishes, cups/glasses and silverware you will need. We do offer snacks and drinks for an additional charge.
Are there additional costs for amenities and services such as mail, printing, or Wi-Fi?
Mail, printing*, copying*, scanning and Wi-Fi are included in our memberships. As a nonmember, anyone can have access to any of these for an additional charge.
*Each member receives a certain number of free pages per month.
What is Vocate’s guest policy?
As a member, we do allow guests to be accompanied by you. Our policies are limited on the number of guests that members can have and the frequency with which they can have them. These restrictions do not apply when meeting rooms are being rented. Please let us know if you would like more information on this.
Does Vocate offer a referral plan?
We do! You can get $50 off your next bill for each friend that signs up for a private office membership and drops your name. Your friend will get $50 off their first month, too.
What is Vocate’s pet policy?
We are fond of pets, your well behaved dog is welcome at Vocate; you will be required to keep it at your desk and clean up after it; not limited to shedding, slobber, and potty/poopy.
How do I reserve the gathering room, day office or get a daily pass?
You can go to vocatehere.com to reserve the gathering room, daily office or co-working space or give us a call at 763-777-0228.
Can anyone use the gathering room?
Yes! Anyone can reserve the gathering room online or give us a call. As a nonmember, you can use the gathering room during operational hours. Members have access to the room 24/7.
What is Vocate’s cancellation policy for the gathering and meeting rooms?
We do not offer refunds on no-shows. We will not charge for cancellations received at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start time of the reservation.
Do you offer discounts to nonprofit organizations?
We do offer discounted rates for nonprofits. Please contact us to find out what we have to offer.
What is the largest group Vocate can accommodate for a meeting or event?
Vocate has a large room with a max capacity of 50 people.
How does Vocate maintain a healthy work environment?
Our onsite staff does regular cleanings of both hard and soft surfaces, especially in the high traffic areas as well as hand sanitizer stations available throughout the building.
How is Vocate handling the COVID-19 pandemic?
In addition to cleaning and hand sanitizer stations, we have partnered with our neighbor, GatherWell, to offer onsite COVID-19 testing for individuals and groups.
